360 Virtual Tour Panoramas - Information
Once you decide on a 360 Panorama, we will attend at a time and date to suit you. We bring all the necessary equipment, and we take the series of photographs we'll need to create your panorama.
We then leave, and process your panorama through several software packages before creating your Tour. If we are hosting your website already, we will add the pages and code required to view them.
If you are currently hosting elsewhere, we can either provide the panorama on a CD/DVD for you for your web designer to include, or host it on our own servers and provide a link for you to place on your web page (a small hosting charge may be due).
What works well and what doesn't?
Objects that move tend not to work well, so static shots without people usually work best, simply down to "artist" movement! If your panoramas need to have people / movement in them, then it is usually possible to restrict their movement space and still create a stunning image.
Sometimes strong light sources can cause problems with shadows; we'll work with you to fine solutions for these.
Tripod Caps
We offer a choice of either a company logo for the 'down' shot, or where possible we will make the tripod invisible. Although the invisible tripod is more intriguing, most companies opt for a company logo disc to emphasise branding.
Equipment
Our panoramas are created using profession photographic equipment purchase soley with panoramas in mind. Sometimes our competitors will offer similar products using cheaper domestic equipment and we believe this shows in the results. We only use Nikon digital SLR cameras and Nikkor/Sigma lenses, panorama brackets imported directly from Italy (simply because they are the best) and high specification Macs running specialist software from one of the worlds best manufacturers.
