Hosting

We host all our sites on a private server located in an award winning Data centre with outstanding reliability and connectivity to the Internet. Many design companies use 'shared hosting' to save money and offer cheaper hosting, where your site sits alongside thousands of others, but we simply don't believe this offers the best service. We don't lease space on our server to anyone else.

When you commission a site from us, we will purchase the domain name for you, register it to you, and then assign it space on our server. We are able to register a wide variety of domains including. co.uk,. com and. org.uk.

Email (and Webmail)

When you host a domain with us a full email service is included. We offer our clients a choice of POP3 or IMAP4 email, and unlimited accounts within any single domain. Emails can also be redirected to any existing email address. We'll also happily provide help setting up accounts with Outlook/Outlook Express, and we are experienced in Apple Mail and Entourage for Macs. An outgoing (SMTP) authenticated server is available to send mails.

All of our clients have Webmail included - the ability to check your company email from anywhere in the world using a standard internet connection.

Anti Virus and Anti Spam Filtering

At a small additional charge we can protect your domain with an industry standard Enterprise Level virus and spam filter. The filter checks every email incoming to your domain and uses a continually updated set of criteria. The validity of the sender's email protocols are checked, and the IP address of the sender (a unique fingerprint of their identity) is checked against several Blacklists of known spammers.

We believe our filtering offers outstanding protection. Working at server level, it analyses incoming emails and filters them before any are delivered to you, so protecting your PC or network well in advance. Clients who have suffered several thousand junk emails a day have seen this reduce instantly to zero.

All our domains include statistics which show you daily how many visitors are looking at your pages.
